We're bold. We're disruptive. We're powered by creativity, innovation and industry-leading tech. And as we continue to break records across countries, channels and categories, we're looking for extraordinary talent to join us.

About The Role

The platform team looks after the infrastructure that supports the Charlotte Tilbury customer experience online, and the platform that our engineers use - from CI/CD pipelines to shared Terraform modules, from security improvements to tooling optimisation. Engineers work in small, nimble teams (squads) that work in SCRUM or Kanban to deliver exciting feature roadmaps. Our squads include Product Managers and Product Designers and part of our DNA as a company is achieving amazing things through collaboration. Engineering squads follow DevOps principles, with teams running what they build - and the platform team sits alongside them, making it easy for them to get it right the first time, making the infrastructure scalable and secure, and making the journey from idea to deployment to support a smooth one.

As Platform Engineer you will

  • Maintain and contribute to all parts of our AWS platform that creates a luxury shopping experience for our customers;
  • Work on platform initiatives that enable our cross-functional squads to self-serve when it comes to provisioning infrastructure from the AWS catalogue;
  • Contribute to our tooling and the overall developer experience of our engineers, making it easy for them to create, maintain, and own the infrastructure they need, and making the process of building, testing, and deploying services and features fast and frictionless;
  • Review and continuously improve our cloud infrastructure, making sure it is secure, performant, and cost-efficient, and is ready to support the ambitious growth plans for our business;
  • Receive mentoring, development, and training to ensure your skills are kept up to date;
  • Have an opportunity to contribute to SRE and incident response

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Experience in designing, maintaining and running production infrastructure using IAC (preferably Terraform);
  • Familiarity with core AWS services, we actively use Elastic Container Service, Lambdas, CloudFront, API Gateway, S3, RDS, Route53, API Gateway, ElastiCache;

  • Hands-on experience with at least one non-IAC programming language (Java, Python, Typescript, or any other);
  • Familiarity with, and interest in, security, and readiness to consider security implications in every action;
  • Experience working in e-commerce and running commercially critical infrastructure used by tens or hundreds of thousands of customers every day;
