Infrastructure & Platform Engineer: Contract 100% Remote | £350–£500/day

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure & Platform Engineer to join a fast-moving engineering team on a contract basis. You'll help shape and scale the platform that underpins our product, working across our Python/Django backend and Golang services, with AWS as the backbone of our infrastructure.

This is a fully remote role - work from wherever suits you. The core team is based in London, so reasonable overlap with UK working hours is expected for collaboration.

About the role

You'll be joining as a hands-on infrastructure specialist, responsible for the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud environment. You'll work closely with backend engineers building in Python (Django) and Golang, helping design and maintain the systems that let them ship quickly and safely. Expect a mix of hands-on build work, automation, and platform strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and platform-level incidents
  • Contributing to the evolution of our platform architecture as the product scales

What we're looking for
