Platform Engineer
Up to £450 per day
Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote - Warwickshire
5-Month Contract
VIQU is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join a major enterprise customer in Warwickshire. The role is focused on a predominantly Azure-based hybrid platform (75% Azure / 25% on-prem), with strong emphasis on platform transformation, automation and production support.

Platform Engineer Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of hybrid platform and infrastructure changes.
- Drive Azure platform modernisation and Landing Zone migration.
- Manage Azure compute, networking, storage, identity and security services.
- Maintain Azure/on-prem hybrid connectivity.
- Support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
- Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi environments.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Lead troubleshooting, incident resolution and root cause analysis.
- Work with Architecture, Security and Engineering teams on platform improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation and platform standards.
