I'm working exclusively with a large, rapidly growing UK organisation that is investing heavily in its technology function and is looking for an experienced Platform Support Engineer to join the team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond traditional IT support and take greater ownership of business-critical enterprise platforms, helping improve their stability, performance and reliability.

You'll provide specialist support across a combination of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and bespoke internal platforms, working closely with business users, Technology, Development, DevOps, Security and third-party suppliers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

πŸ‘€ What we're looking for

You'll ideally have 3+ years' experience within Application Support, Platform Support, IT Support or Service Delivery, with strong hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Experience across ITSM, incident/problem/change management, Azure DevOps and working with third-party vendors would be particularly valuable. Exposure to PowerShell, APIs, Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, SDLC or ISO 27001/22301 would be advantageous.
This would suit someone who enjoys getting under the skin of complex systems, solving problems and taking ownership rather than simply escalating tickets.
