We’re looking for a Platform Engineer

We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join a fintech environment and help develop and support the cloud infrastructure that powers their customer-facing services.

This is a hands-on role focused on Azure, Kubernetes, automation, DevOps and platform reliability, with plenty of scope to improve how infrastructure is built, deployed and operated.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage and enhance the Azure cloud environment, with a focus on security, scalability and resilience.
  • Support and optimise AKS and container platforms, including Kubernetes clusters and container registries.
  • Build and manage infrastructure through Terraform and PowerShell, reducing manual processes through automation.
  • Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and tooling, helping engineering teams release applications efficiently and safely.
  • Monitor the production environment, investigate incidents and drive improvements to availability, performance and disaster recovery.
  • Work closely with developers and other technology teams to establish consistent, reliable platform practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
