We're working with a successful, owner-led SaaS business that is heavily investing in its platform and experiencing significant growth. They are seeking a talented engineer to take ownership of their complex cloud environment and drive its evolution.

The Role

  • Take ownership of a large cloud environment and drive continual improvement
  • Design secure, scalable, and well-architected cloud infrastructure
  • Lead infrastructure projects from assessment through to implementation and migration
  • Improve security, governance, reliability, and cost optimisation
  • Support a hybrid environment across multiple cloud providers and on-premise infrastructure
  • Work closely with software engineering teams to develop DevOps practices

What You'll Need

  • Strong commercial AWS infrastructure experience
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and AWS ECS
  • Experience improving and modernising existing cloud environments
  • Good understanding of hybrid infrastructure and cloud architecture
  • Experience with technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or CDK
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work autonomously
