Platform Engineer

Warwickshire – Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite per week
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + Benefits

The Opportunity

An established organisation is strengthening its Platform Engineering capability and is looking for an experienced Azure-focused Platform Engineer.

This is an opportunity for someone with strong hands-on Azure expertise to take ownership of the organisation's Azure estate, cloud infrastructure, and platform capabilities, while contributing to the ongoing development of its cloud architecture and engineering standards.

The existing Platform Engineering team has a strong on-premises background, so this role will provide an important Azure and Cloud specialist capability, helping to develop, manage, and optimise the organisation's cloud environment.

The role sits within the Commercial Digital Factory and focuses on the platforms, infrastructure, automation, and engineering capabilities that enable reliable software delivery across the wider technology estate.

The Technology Environment

The organisation operates a broad enterprise technology landscape, with Azure forming a key part of its cloud platform environment.

The wider ecosystem includes:

  • Microsoft Azure
  • AWS
  • Salesforce
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Power BI
  • Infor ERP
  • Infor Revenue Management
  • Infor Product Management
  • Bynder
  • Enterprise integrations between these platforms

The successful candidate will have particular responsibility for the Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services, alongside deployment pipelines, automation, and the supporting capabilities required to operate these applications reliably.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
