Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a proper hands-on infrastructure role, not DevOps, with the opportunity to take real ownership of some significant infrastructure projects.

👀 What we’re looking for:

  • Strong hands-on enterprise storage & backup experience
  • Good understanding of servers, storage, networking and infrastructure
  • Experience with technologies such as IBM Storage, Fibre Channel, Rubrik, NetWorker or Commvault
  • Comfortable working across traditional on-prem / Data Centre environments
  • Some Windows Server / Active Directory exposure
  • Linux experience would be highly beneficial, but isn’t essential
  • Someone comfortable taking ownership and working independently
  • Hands-on Data Centre experience such as racking, stacking and cabling would be a bonus

🛠️ What you’ll be getting stuck into:

There’s plenty happening from day one, including enterprise storage and backup operations, infrastructure across multiple Data Centres, storage procurement and deployment, and a major NetWorker → Commvault migration kicking off in Q1 2027.

If you’re an Infrastructure / Platform Engineer with a strong storage and backup background and this sounds interesting, we’d love to hear from you.
