The role:
My client, an established Quant Trading firm, are seeking an individual with a broad skillset across both Projects and Platforms to join their team.
The role sits between Project Management and Engineering, and encompasses elements of both. It would suit an experienced Platform Engineer who has transitioned into a role where they are managing / running projects, whilst still being in touch with the core Engineering / Tech side.

Responsibilities:
- Leading end to end delivery of cross-team technical initiatives.
- Working from initial scoping through to stakeholder management, and production rollout.
- Acting as a core anchor point to keep complex projects moving.
- Structuring work, managing dependencies, dealing with blockers, and driving cross-team projects forwards.
- Working closely with DevOps, SRE’s and leadership teams.
- Utilising previous Platform / DevOps related experience to give credibility and context to drive delivery.

Experience required:
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical projects in enterprise environments.
- Proven experience driving delivery, managing stakeholders, dependencies and timelines.
- Breadth of technical experience across DevOps/Platform/SRE, comfortable contributing to conversation around CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Observability, Middleware, Automation and associated technology.
- You should be competent with Linux, and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence and Git.
