Platform Engineer - Hedge Fund - £120K+
Are you a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineer looking to make a massive impact on mission-critical infrastructure?
Our client is a leading hedge fund and are looking for a Platform Engineer to help build, automate, and scale the solutions that power their trading.
About the Role
In this role, you'll work directly with developers, researchers, and infrastructure teams to supercharge their productivity.
You'll design and scale robust platform infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, and create seamless self-service workflows.

While you don't need to be an expert in everything, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute across a diverse technical ecosystem, including:
- Observability (Prometheus, Grafana etc)
- Scheduling / Orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Automation (Ansible, Terraform etc)
- Databases & Middleware (PostgreSQL, Kafka etc)
Requirements
They're looking for:
- Strong experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform engineering.
- Solid software development skills in Python would be ideal
- Hands-on experience with Linux, Bash, and Containerisation.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with on-prem deployments (GitLab), workflow orchestrators (Airflow), API development, or additional languages like Golang and Rust would be ideal.
