DevOps Engineer – Data & Analytics Platform
This isn’t your standard AWS DevOps / Platform Engineering role.
You’ll be joining an established global commodities trading firm where data analysts and quantitative teams are building sophisticated models and analytics that directly support the business. The challenge now is taking that work from the analytical environment into robust, production-ready platforms.
You’ll sit close to the data and analytics function, working across AWS, CI/CD, containers, data pipelines and data platforms to help build the infrastructure that underpins how the firm works with data.
A key part of the role will be supporting data ingestion, pipeline automation and analytics workloads, working with technologies such as Airflow, dbt and Snowflake alongside AWS and modern DevOps tooling.

Importantly, this role provides genuine front-office exposure. You’ll work closely with the analysts and teams using these platforms, giving you visibility into how technology, data and analytics ultimately support commodities trading and commercial decision-making.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Build and automate infrastructure across AWS
- Support data ingestion and large-scale data pipelines
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerised environments
- Work with tools such as Airflow, dbt and Snowflake
- Help take analytical workloads and models into production
- Work directly with data analysts, engineers and front-office stakeholders
- Play a key role in developing the platform supporting a growing data & analytics function

Location: London – Hybrid
Compensation: Up to £85k + bonus
