Platform Engineer - DevOps Engineer - AWS - CI CD - Python - Terraform - 6 month contract - Paying up to £500 per day(Outside IR35) - Immediate starters
Key Responsibilities
- Proficient in AWS cloud services and cloud-native technologies, with the ability to design and implement scalable, resilient solutions
- Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Terraform) for automating infrastructure management.
- Hands-on experience with IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies to streamline cloud delivery
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and ability to implement robust security controls.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving complex platform issues
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to work across cross-functional teams

Key Experience
- Implement and maintain core cloud platform components, including networking, security and governance controls, so cloud services can be delivered smoothly
- Automate the provisioning, configuration and deployment of cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipeline
- Build and maintain reusable IaC templates, scripts and modules to make delivery more efficient, consistent and reliable
- Monitor platform performance, availability and security, and fix issues promptly
- Provide incident resolution and operational support, working with cloud security, development and operations teams to keep IT operations secure and reliable
- Keep improving the platform's scalability, cost-efficiency and maintainability using the latest cloud services and capabilities
- Support new team members and peers, and help improve cloud engineering practices over time
