Platform Engineer | Azure, Security & Hybrid Infrastructure

π Active DV Clearance Required
We're supporting a high-profile secure government programme that requires an experienced Platform Engineer to help deliver and maintain enterprise infrastructure services across both cloud and on-premise environments.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Azure and security technologies, supporting large-scale infrastructure modernisation, monitoring, endpoint security deployments, and hybrid cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure services
- Onboard Windows and Linux servers into Azure Arc
- Install, configure and troubleshoot Azure Monitor Agent (AMA)
- Deploy and support enterprise XDR/EDR security solutions
- Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments
- Support Azure networking technologies including VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall and Private Endpoints
- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and Bash
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates
- Support security compliance, vulnerability remediation and platform hardening activities

Essential Skills
- β Active DV Clearance
- β Strong Azure administration experience
- β Azure Arc and Azure Monitor expertise
- β Windows Server and Linux administration
- β XDR/EDR deployment and support experience
- β PowerShell and Bash scripting
- β Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, Firewalls)
