About the Role

The Role

This company is building the Agentic Operating System for procurement, where AI agents are the product, not an add-on. They're tackling a complex problem in a large market, backed by leading investors, with significant ARR growth and hundreds of enterprise customers. This isn't another feature-factory SaaS.

You'll join a dedicated platform team, serving an engineering org of 45+ people scaling rapidly. This isn't a DevOps or SRE role; you'll write production TypeScript, owning the shared foundations and developer experience for everyone else. Your impact is direct: enabling multiple daily production deploys and setting the pace for the entire engineering team. This is a senior or staff-level role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Work

  • Evolve a serverless AWS architecture (Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, EventBridge) for 10x scale, multi-region high availability, and data residency.
  • Own and improve GitHub Actions pipelines and Pulumi infrastructure-as-code, enabling multiple daily production deploys.
  • Build and tune Datadog dashboards, SLOs, and alerts that proactively flag issues before customers are impacted.
  • Write production TypeScript to build and enhance internal developer tools and shared platform foundations.

What You Bring

  • Deliberate specialisation in platform or developer experience at a cloud-native SaaS company (50-500 engineers). This isn't a DevOps or SRE role.
  • Production-grade TypeScript experience. Not just Bash or YAML scripting.
  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of AWS serverless (Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, EventBridge, IAM, networking) and their trade-offs.
  • Experience refactoring infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi, CDK, Terraform, or SST) and building robust CI/CD workflows.
  • Proven ability to build reliable observability: dashboards, SLOs, and alerts that genuinely pre-empt customer-facing issues.
