Lead resilient infrastructure platforms. Strengthen core services. Enable reliable digital and operational delivery.

About the Role

In this Platform Engineering Manager role, you’ll lead the infrastructure-focused side of Anglian Water’s platform engineering capability, spanning cloud, on-premise infrastructure and Operational Technology environments.

  • Owning infrastructure platform outcomes for reliability, security, performance, capacity, lifecycle and operational supportability
  • Defining infrastructure patterns, standards and automation pipelines that enable repeatable, compliant and efficient delivery
  • Driving adoption of infrastructure-as-code, cloud platform capability, self-service infrastructure and automation across IT and OT environments
  • Translating business, operational and delivery requirements into infrastructure platform solutions that reduce risk and improve resilience
  • Ensuring infrastructure platform services are observable, supportable and designed for performance, availability, security and service-aware operations
  • Leading, coaching and inspiring your team, fostering a culture of accountability, wellbeing, inclusion and high performance
  • Managing outsourced infrastructure and platform service partners to ensure consistent quality, adherence to standards and joint ownership of outcomes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
