I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who are we looking for?
You’ll already be operating as a strong platform, infrastructure or cloud engineering leader within a technology, SaaS, fintech or similarly complex environment. You’ll bring significant hands on experience across GCP, Kubernetes/GKE, Infrastructure as Code and cloud native infrastructure, together with a strong understanding of reliability, automation, security and operational excellence. Experience designing and operating high availability, multi regional GCP environments, including GKE Standard and Autopilot, will be particularly valuable. You’ll also have strong Terraform experience and an understanding of modern security approaches including Zero Trust, Cloud Armor and global load balancing.

Crucially, you’ll be passionate about Developer Experience and understand that great platform engineering is about more than infrastructure. You’ll be someone who looks for friction, solves problems through automation and builds platforms that enable other engineers to do their best work. You’ll be a natural technical leader who can balance hands on engineering with mentoring, collaboration and strategic thinking. You’ll be comfortable working across teams, taking ownership and making pragmatic decisions in a fast moving, globally distributed environment.
This is an opportunity to build rather than simply maintain with genuine ownership of the platform foundations that will support CellPoint Digital’s next stage of growth.
You’ll join a global, remote first team spanning Copenhagen, Dallas, Dubai, London, Miami, Pune, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Mexico and Singapore, with colleagues working remotely around the world.
