Senior Platform Enterprise Architect
A UK enterprise is building a production-grade GCP platform for multi-agent AI. We are looking for a senior Platform Enterprise Architect to own the High-Level Design and technical roadmap for the underlying orchestration, governance, security, and delivery platform.
This is an immediate three-month contract with the possibility of extension. The role is hybrid in the UK, with domestic travel approximately once or twice every two months. Fluent English is required.
The Assignment
- Own and maintain the High-Level Design for a converged enterprise platform spanning predictive and agentic AI.
- Define the roadmap from isolated greenfield components into a unified, production-grade GCP stack.
- Architect a managed agent runtime covering orchestration, observability, evaluation, and operational controls.
- Create reusable golden templates for GCP agentic services, including ADK, Agent Engine, A2A, MCP, and related platform capabilities.
- Establish a central agent and tool registry to support discovery, reuse, and governance across domains.
- Define FinOps, telemetry, and operational standards across agentic use cases.
- Build security controls for agent memory, non-human identities, reasoning safeguards, and agent-to-agent communication.
- Apply Model Armor, VPC Service Controls, CMEK, mTLS, and Responsible AI controls.
- Embed security and privacy guardrails into Terraform and Google Cloud Deploy pipelines.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
