Sutcliffe Play (South West) Ltd is the regional distributor for Sutcliffe Play Ltd with an office located in Dorset and we have been working with Sutcliffe Play since 2003.
Sutcliffe Play is the largest employee-owned UK manufacturer in the play industry being a long-standing and reputable supplier of premium quality play equipment.
About the Role
Working as part of the Play Area Design team, the ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D Modelling software and an interest in design. This is an in-person, full-time office-based position.
Main Duties
- Assessment and interpretation of design briefs and associated documentation
- Creation of 2D CAD plans and associated costings
- Creation of 3D visual presentations
- Liaise closely with the main contacts and continuously review details of play area design requests so they can be accurately processed.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience of playground design is desirable
- Working knowledge and relevant experience of AutoCAD, 3DS Max, Excel, Photoshop & InDesign
- Preferable working knowledge of V-Ray advantageous albeit not essential
- Computer literate (Microsoft packages)
- A good attention to detail, interpreting design briefs and cost analysis
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a small team
