Play Worker – Cooper Perry Primary School – Seighford, Staffordshire

Required: October 2026

7.5 hours per week

Grade 3: Annual Salary £25,583 (pro rata) term time

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our breakfast club team. The successful candidate will have experience of working with children and will work under the direction and instruction of the SLT to help provide safe and stimulating care for children at Cooper Perry Primary School, outside of the school day.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience

  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working with children.

Qualifications/Training

  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team.
  • Ability to relate well to children and to adults.
  • Good organising and prioritising skills.
  • Awareness of health and hygiene procedures.
  • Demonstrate and assist in the safe and effective use of materials and equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively using various methods.
  • Able to work flexibly to suit client needs.
