Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Why This Role Is Different

This is not a traditional Financial Adviser role. The successful candidate will continue to manage and develop client relationships whilst gradually taking on additional leadership responsibilities. The firm recognises that the best leaders are often those who have successfully built strong client relationships themselves. They are seeking an Adviser who can lead by example, mentor colleagues and help develop the next generation of Financial Advisers. This unique player-manager position would suit someone who:

  • Enjoys advising and managing client relationships
  • Wants to move into leadership without giving up client work entirely
  • Has a passion for coaching and mentoring others
  • Wants to influence business strategy and growth
  • Is ambitious about joining a senior leadership team in the future

The Opportunity

Over time, you will:

  • Continue advising a sophisticated HNW and UHNW client bank
  • Support and mentor Financial Advisers within the team
  • Assist with best practice, coaching and development
  • Contribute towards business growth and strategic planning
  • Play an important role in succession planning
  • Progress towards a senior management position
