Role Overview
Our PLC client, a global manufacturing and distribution company, is in need of some interim assistance to start asap for about 6 months, while a decision is made on the level needed for permanent recruitment to the department later in 2027.
Job Requirements
We are very open on the level of candidate who could be considered for the current interim role. The company secretary simply needs a PLC experienced person who will not need a lot of handholding and would be free to assist with a variety of PLC matters upcoming over the next six months or so.

This role could suit someone who has been operating at Co Sec Asst, Assistant Secretary, or more senior levels—depending on the level of experience and appetite for the role. Basically, a sound extra pair of hands is needed as cover to support the department.
Ideally, they will be looking for someone who can assist with the Annual Report, so someone with experience of that aspect of the workload would be very useful. Plus, someone who can take accurate minutes—perhaps act as Secretary to the Sustainability Committee, for example. Experience and familiarity with Diligent Board books and Diligent Entities would also be very useful.

Location
The team of three is based in Glasgow. If possible, they would love someone who could be in the office 2 days a week. However, they are realistic that the location won’t suit everyone, so if you are interested but the role would need to be more remotely based, just let them know what you would need—as it will be a supply and demand issue!
