Your Role

As a PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Capability Manager, your mission is to define, develop, govern, and continuously improve Product Lifecycle Management capabilities across the Semiconductor (SUN) Division, ensuring that processes, systems, data, governance, and digital capabilities effectively support the complete product lifecycle from concept through design, manufacture, service, and end-of-life. Through a combination of strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, process excellence, and digital transformation, you will enable efficient, compliant, scalable, and data-driven product development across the global R&D organisation.

You will report to the Advanced Engineering Manager, based in Clevedon, UK.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Define and drive the PLM roadmap, capability framework, and continuous improvement strategy aligned to business objectives and industry best practice.
  • Own and standardise end-to-end PLM processes, governance, KPIs, and lifecycle controls across the Semiconductor (SUN) Division.
  • Represent SUN in PLM forums, define system requirements, and ensure effective integration and adoption of PLM and related enterprise systems.
  • Establish product data standards, governance, and traceability to support BOM management, digital thread, and digital twin initiatives.
  • Maintain PLM governance, roles, policies, and controls to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and business requirements.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, change management, training, and capability development to drive PLM maturity and organisational adoption.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
