Are you an experienced Plot Sales or Residential Conveyancing professional looking to join a highly regarded Property team working with leading developer clients?

At Ashtons Legal, we're looking for a Plot Sales Executive to play a key role in delivering an exceptional service to our clients, managing the sale of new build properties from instruction through to completion.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team, with the flexibility to be based in either our Cambridge or Bury St Edmunds office.

The Opportunity

As a Plot Sales Executive, you will manage the conveyancing sale process for new build developments, ensuring matters progress efficiently and in line with developer requirements and agreed performance targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing plot sales transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Preparing and issuing contract documentation and monitoring exchange deadlines
  • Handling pre-exchange, pre-completion and post-completion matters
  • Liaising with buyers' solicitors, developer clients and internal stakeholders
  • Submitting Master Conveyance Plans to the Land Registry and Local Authorities
  • Maintaining detailed plot progression schedules and producing regular progress reports
  • Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and within required timescales
  • Attending client meetings, development meetings and pre-start meetings
  • Supporting and providing guidance to the Plot Sales Assistant
  • Assisting with business development activities and building strong long-term client relationships

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and committed to delivering an excellent client experience.

You'll be confident managing a busy caseload, prioritising competing deadlines and building strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in plot sales, residential conveyancing, or a similar property-related role
  • A solid understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidence using case management systems, Microsoft Office and diary management tools
  • A proactive, commercially aware and client-focused approach
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with developer clients and internal teams
