Thermatic Plumber - Full Time
We are looking for a full-time Plumber to join our growing team of service engineers. You’ll be working alongside our other service engineers across many of our commercial clients across East Midlands.
This is a fully remote role and requires a full UK driving licence.
As a Thermatic Plumber, you are a member of the mobile service & maintenance engineering team. This role is responsible for delivering a high standard of plumbing services across commercial client sites as part of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive works, and minor project delivery.

Hours & Location of Work:
Main location - this is a fully mobile role covering East Midlands.
Regular hours of work - Monday to Friday, 40 hour working week. Whilst this is our company standard working week, our clients require "out of hours" maintenance so early starts/late finishes & night works are to be expected.

On Call - this role includes a 24 hour on call rota on a maximum 1 week in 4 schedule (Friday-Thursday)
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Essential:
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing systems in commercial environments, including water regulations and HSE standards.
- Understanding of Legionella compliance, flushing regimes, and TMV servicing.
- Basic awareness of other trades and how plumbing integrates with HVAC, electrical, and fabric maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with CAFM systems and digital job reporting platforms.
- Awareness of permit to work systems, RAMS, and relevant safety legislation.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent.
- Experience working on commercial sites and delivering mobile plumbing services.
- Full UK driving licence.
- WRAS / Unvented Hot Water (G3) (desirable).
- Legionella Awareness / TMV Competency (desirable).
- High level of technical plumbing ability, including fault diagnosis and effective repair.
- Ability to work independently while managing a busy mobile workload.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Skilled in accurate job reporting and efficient time management.
- Capable of identifying commercial opportunities through condition reporting and client engagement.

- Undertaking planned and reactive plumbing works, including fault finding, diagnostics, repair, and replacement of components on commercial sites.
- Delivering a high standard of work that meets statutory compliance, health & safety regulations, and internal quality benchmarks.
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with RAMS, method statements, and permit requirements.
- Responding promptly to emergency call-outs and urgent plumbing issues in line with SLA requirements.
- Carrying out basic maintenance and inspection of associated building services and plant equipment (e.g., pipework, hot/cold water systems, sanitary ware).
- Identifying and reporting follow-on or remedial works and support the quoting process where appropriate.
- Completing accurate digital job records, including time, materials, photos, and detailed job notes.
- Liaising professionally with clients, site contacts, and other engineers to coordinate works and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Supporting junior team members or subcontractors as needed, acting as a technical point of contact when required.
- Participating in toolbox talks, audits, and regular team briefings to maintain safe and consistent service delivery.
- Maintaining van stock levels and ensure company vehicle, tools, and PPE are kept in good condition.
- Follow all requirements and procedures as laid out, and participate actively in the continuous improvement of, the IMS.
