Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Plumber role based in Milton Keynes. The Plumber will carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, heating, and gas systems for residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role involves visiting multiple client locations, completing job documentation, communicating clearly with customers and office staff, and maintaining tools, vehicles, and work areas. The Plumber will also support emergency call-outs as required and contribute to delivering reliable, high-quality service.

Qualifications

  • Strong practical plumbing skills, including installation, maintenance, and repair of pipework, fixtures, and heating systems.
  • Experience working with gas systems, boilers, and heating controls, with relevant gas safety certification (e.g., Gas Safe registration or equivalent) preferred.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and heating issues efficiently, using appropriate tools and methods.
  • Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain work clearly and professionally to a wide range of clients.
  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including adherence to building regulations and company procedures.
  • Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally to different job sites in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas.
  • Relevant vocational qualifications or apprenticeships in plumbing and heating (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time effectively, and complete accurate job reports and documentation.
