PLUMBER
Salary: £33,470.35 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:00
Location: Cheltenham
Excellent benefits package including 2.5% Golden Hello payment on commencement of employment and a £2,000 annual retention bonus (pro-rata for part time employees), subject to maintaining clearance requirements.

We are looking to recruit a Plumber to join our friendly team at a prestigious building in Cheltenham to deliver planned and reactive maintenance as allocated by the supervisor and respond as necessary to all incidents to minimise business disruption and operational downtime. The role will require a detailed understanding of the installed building wet systems. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7am and 4pm. Overtime is available or may be required from time to time to ensure continuity of cover.
Responsibilities
- Plumbing-related planned, reactive and corrective maintenance tasks, and any other works that may fall within your skills and capabilities to deliver.
- Undertake maintenance reports via a service tablet
- Good understanding of hot and cold systems including the repair of sanitaryware fixtures and fittings
- Undertake general maintenance of drainage systems, including soil stacks
- Assist the water Hygiene/Services team when required
- Complete legionella Logbooks as and when necessary
- Carry out all assigned work in a reasonable time scale, to the best of your abilities, observing all relevant H&S requirements.
- Planning, quoting and installation of plumbing as required
- Carry out and record risk assessments as required
- Assist in the maintaining of a clean working environment
- Undertaking general maintenance duties as required from time to time

Essential Criteria
- NVQ 2 Plumbing (minimum)
- Experience in working in a commercial or industrial FM service delivery environment
- Basic IT Skills
- Ability to work within building plans
- DV clearance will be required to fulfill this role
