Job Title: Plumber (Maintenance)

Location: Dunfermline, Fife – KY11 Area

Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour (PAYE)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:30 (40 hours per week)

Contract: Temporary Assignment – Immediate Start to 31 May 2026

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Plumber to support facilities maintenance operations at a large commercial site in Dunfermline.

This role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to reactive plumbing tasks across the site, working as part of a wider facilities maintenance team.

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plumbing systems and associated plant
  • Respond to reactive plumbing issues and repairs across the site
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to maintain operational systems
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and maintenance engineers on site
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities

Essential Skills and Experience

  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or higher
  • Previous experience working within building services or facilities maintenance
  • Ability to carry out both PPM and reactive plumbing tasks
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multiskilled maintenance team

Assignment Details

  • Temporary contract running until 31 May 2026
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Working hours 07:00 – 15:30
  • Based at a large commercial distribution facility in Dunfermline

This is a good opportunity for a qualified plumber looking for a stable short-term contract within a professional facilities maintenance environment.
