Are you a qualified plumber who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and making a real impact? Do you have a passion for sustainability and helping to reduce water waste?

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Hotel Plumber to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our hotel's plumbing systems while supporting our environmental and sustainability objectives. Your expertise will help ensure our guests enjoy a comfortable stay while contributing to the efficient use of resources across the property.

The Role

As a Hotel Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out plumbing repairs, preventative maintenance, leak investigations, and water-efficiency improvements throughout the hotel. Working closely with the wider Engineering team, you will identify opportunities to reduce water consumption, improve system performance, and maintain the highest operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out plumbing repairs and general maintenance across the hotel.
  • Investigate and resolve internal and external water leaks.
  • Repair and maintain water-wasting appliances, including toilets, pipework, valves, taps, and overflows.
  • Install water-saving fixtures and fittings to support sustainability initiatives.
  • Conduct water efficiency audits, recording water pressure and flow rates.
  • Take and monitor water meter readings to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, inspections, and maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with hotel departments to minimise disruption while maintenance work is carried out.
  • Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Support hotel refurbishment projects and the installation of new plumbing systems and equipment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
