Current Annual Pay Package of up to £37,878 + On Call Allowance for full time 35 hours per week.
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) is currently recruiting permanent Plumbers
The Plumber will support the SPS Maintenance Team in all aspects of Estates work. Delivering preventative and reactive maintenance activities on plumbing and fitting works. Including but not limited to legionella controls, heating, and ventilation systems.
Requirements
- Served a recognised apprenticeship in heating, plumbing or mechanical discipline to SVQ level 3.
Responsibilities
- Support the SPS Maintenance Team in all aspects of Estates work.
- Deliver preventative and reactive maintenance activities on plumbing and fitting works.
- Ensure compliance with legionella controls, heating, and ventilation systems.

Working Conditions
- Full-time, 35 hours per week, worked across Monday to Friday.
- All tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.
- Periodic on-call hours required.
- Travel to other establishments and areas may be necessary.
- A full driving licence that enables the person to drive in the UK is preferred.
