About The Role:
Purpose of the Role:
To support in the successful delivery of Facilities Maintenance contracts, across the Central Belt (Scotland).
As a Mobile Plumbing & Heating Engineer, you'll support in all FM related works with a bias towards Mechanical Maintenance across a variety of sites, including healthcare and education settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair commercial plumbing and heating systems.
- Carry out Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance works, ensuring work is carried out to the correct specification and with the highest quality.
- Ensure client satisfaction and quality of service.
- Identify and implement innovations to improve service delivery.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available as and when required to ensure the effective delivery of the service.
- Assist with Sub-Contractor management and monitoring.
- Liaison with Clients and Sub-Contractors.
- General repairs and maintenance.
- Mechanical maintenance.

Essential Hiring Criteria:
- City & Guilds/NVQ/Apprenticeship in Plumbing/Heating.
- Relevant experience in building maintenance/FM.
- Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety principles including Risk Assessment, COSHH etc.
- Excellent planning skills.
- Good IT/computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Confident working in live buildings & client-facing environments.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Able to work on-call.
- Commercial and/or Domestic Gas qualification an advantage but not essential.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (essential).
Work Pattern:
- Monday - Friday.
- 40 hours per week, 08:00-16:30.
- On call (1 in 10), with enhanced rates.
