Role Description
The Plumbing Contracts Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Scotland, United Kingdom. This role oversees multiple plumbing and heating contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Planning and coordinating labor and materials
- Managing subcontractors and site teams
- Monitoring progress against project schedules
- Liaising with house builders and construction partners
- Handling contract documentation
- Resolving on-site issues
- Supporting compliance with industry regulations and company procedures

The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement, supporting health and safety practices, and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience managing plumbing and heating contracts or similar construction projects, including scheduling, resource planning, and cost control.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and heating installations (e.g., gas, boilers, central heating, underfloor heating, ASHP) and relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in contract administration, documentation, and use of project management or scheduling software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with site teams, subcontractors, clients, and senior management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, solve problems on-site, and make informed decisions under time constraints.
- Commitment to health, safety, and quality assurance, with a strong focus on risk management and compliance.
- Previous experience with residential new-build projects and working with major house builders is highly beneficial.
- Relevant trade or construction management qualification (e.g., plumbing/heating certification, HNC/HND or degree in construction management or similar) is preferred.
- Valid right to work in the United Kingdom and a full UK driving license for travel between sites.
