Role Description
The Plumbing Engineer will work on-site in Milton Keynes on a contract basis, supporting the delivery of plumbing and building services projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, fixtures, and pipework
- Ensuring reliable water supply and efficient heating systems
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Collaborating with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) teams
- Coordinating with other trades on site
- Conducting inspections, diagnosing faults, recommending solutions
- Ensuring work complies with relevant building regulations and safety standards
- Documenting work carried out accurately
- Communicating clearly with supervisors, colleagues, and clients

Qualifications
- Strong practical skills and experience in Plumbing, including installation, maintenance, and fault finding
- Knowledge of Plumbing Design and Building Services, with the ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
- Understanding of Water Supply systems and related regulations, including safe and efficient distribution within buildings
- Experience working within Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) environments and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
- Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in plumbing or building services engineering
- Familiarity with UK building codes, health and safety standards, and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently on-site, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing project priorities
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project locations as required
