R.G.Evans Plumbing and Heating is part of the Evans Group, a family-run business that has operated throughout South East England since 1948. The company specializes in installing plumbing and heating systems for new home developers, builders, and bespoke projects. Services range from large housing developments and blocks of flats to unique one-off dwellings and prestige sites. R.G.Evans also delivers renewable energy installations for heating and hot water, as well as central plant systems for multi-unit buildings with a common heat source. Role Description

The Plumbing & Heating Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role oversees the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems on residential and special project sites, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.   • Supervising site teams
  • Coordinating materials and subcontractors
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Conducting quality checks on completed work

The Foreman will also:

  • Liaise with site managers, developers, and clients
  • Provide clear progress updates
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Enforcing health and safety procedures
  • Mentoring team members
  • Supporting the integration of renewable and central plant systems where required

Qualifications

  • Strong plumbing knowledge and practical experience in installing domestic and small commercial systems.
  • Proficiency working with pipes, fittings, and associated components, including interpretation of technical plans.
  • Experience in maintenance & repair and general maintenance of heating and plumbing installations.
  • Solid customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, developers, and site teams.
  • Previous supervisory or foreman experience on construction or new-build sites.
  • Relevant plumbing and heating qualifications or apprenticeship; industry certifications and gas or renewable credentials are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices for site management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work to deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards under pressure.
  • Valid UK driving license and eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
