Senior Healthcare Support Worker Band 3
Aberdeen Maternity Hospital
Two Permanent Posts Available
1 x 30 hours per week
1 x 26.25 hours per week
We are seeking compassionate, enthusiastic, and motivated Healthcare Support Workers to join our dedicated maternity team at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital.
In this rewarding role, you will work alongside midwives and nurses to deliver high-quality, safe, and person-centred care to women, birthing people, babies, and their families throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period.

- Assisting with basic clinical care, including observations and feeding support.
- Supporting women and babies with personal care needs.
- Assisting with the comfort and wellbeing of patients and their families.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment.
- Working collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary maternity team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing compassionate care and making a positive difference to the experience of those accessing maternity services.
The posts are based within Aberdeen Maternity Hospital and involve working a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends. Shifts are 12 hours in duration and are worked on a rota averaged over a three-week period.
