What You Will Need To Succeed

School leaders are looking for confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic individuals with a genuine interest in supporting young people with additional needs. Whether you're an aspiring teacher, a recent graduate, or an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, this role offers excellent opportunities to develop your skills and make a real difference.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will

  • Have experience working with pupils in a SEN setting, ideally supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students within a Primary Model environment.
  • Have experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and communication needs.
  • Be willing to provide personal care where required and support pupils with behaviours that may challenge.
  • Have any other relevant experience working with children or young people with additional needs.
  • Be flexible, patient, and resilient.
  • Be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
