PMO & Admin Manager

Location: London Office, Chancery Lane

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced PMO Coordinator, Project Support Officer, Project Administrator or Senior Administrator looking for your next step?

Our client is looking for a PMO & Administration Manager to take ownership of key business processes, projects and administrative functions across the organisation.

This is a varied role that would suit someone from a PMO, project coordination, business support or senior administration background who enjoys working across different areas of a business and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and internal teams, coordinating information, preparing reports and documentation, monitoring actions and deadlines, and identifying opportunities to improve how the business operates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support business projects and internal initiatives, ensuring actions, deadlines and deliverables are tracked and progressed.
  • Act as a central point of contact across projects, ensuring clear communication between stakeholders and teams.
  • Prepare project updates, reports, management information, presentations, proposals and business documentation for senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain project trackers, action logs, records and documentation, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Support project planning, coordination and implementation of new systems, processes and business initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and automate processes, helping the business operate more efficiently.
  • Coordinate and monitor key business processes, ensuring deadlines and actions are followed through.
  • Provide senior-level administrative and project support to the Finance & Administration team and wider leadership team.
  • Manage, mentor and support members of the administration team, helping to maintain high standards and develop team capability.
  • Coordinate company-wide travel, accommodation, subscriptions and other operational requirements.
  • Support internal audits, compliance processes and ISO requirements, ensuring documentation and procedures are maintained.
  • Assist with financial administration including invoicing, supplier management, debt collection and financial controls.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction processes for new starters.
  • Maintain key company records, supplier information, internal documentation and reporting.
  • Support the implementation of new systems, acting as a key user and champion for process improvements.
  • Coordinate internal events, team initiatives and business projects.
  • Provide additional support across the wider business where required.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience in a PMO, project coordination, business support, senior administration or similar role.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects, workstreams, actions or deadlines.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Experience preparing reports, presentations, project documentation and management information.
  • Experience maintaining trackers, databases, records, action logs and documentation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience improving processes, systems or ways of working.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership and proactively identify solutions.
  • Good numerical and financial administration skills, with experience of invoicing, supplier management or debt collection desirable.
  • Degree Level, 2.1 or above
