PMO Analyst

Location: Solihull (hybrid)
Salary: Up to £36,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent

A PMO Analyst is required to join a leading organisation within the UK energy industry, supporting the delivery of change across a complex and evolving environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation playing a critical role in supporting safe, efficient and reliable operations.

Working within the change portfolio, you'll provide structured PMO support across a range of projects and programmes, helping to ensure consistent governance, accurate reporting and effective delivery oversight. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers across governance, reporting, RAID management, benefits tracking and financial monitoring.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

  • Provide PMO support across projects and programmes, ensuring governance frameworks, processes, standards and controls are consistently applied.
  • Coordinate governance activities, including meetings, action tracking, decision logs, documentation and stage gate reviews.
  • Maintain RAID and benefits management processes, ensuring risks, issues, dependencies and benefits are accurately tracked and reported.
  • Support portfolio planning, resource and financial management, including pipeline tracking, budget monitoring, forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Produce regular reporting packs and management information, analysing project and portfolio data to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to support effective project mobilisation, delivery and continuous improvement of PMO processes.

Additional Experience & Attributes

  • Proven experience working in a PMO, project support or project coordination role.
  • Good understanding of PMO disciplines including governance, RAID management, benefits tracking, financial management and project assurance.
  • Strong experience producing reporting and management information, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyse data effectively.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work proactively.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Excel or Power BI.
  • Experience working within a regulated or complex delivery environment would be highly desirable.
  • A project management or PMO-related qualification such as PRINCE2 Foundation, APM PFQ or PMO Essentials would be advantageous.
