PMO Analyst - Fixed-term Position
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months
Working Pattern: Minimum of 35 hours per week - Agile Flex attached to our Birmingham office

We are looking for a highly organised and analytical PMO Analyst to join our mobilisation programme. Working alongside another PMO Analyst and reporting to the Programme Manager, you will provide the reporting, data and administrative support that enables effective programme delivery and informed decision-making.
You will work across multiple workstreams to keep plans, trackers and programme records accurate and up to date. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key enabling role in a complex programme, supporting strong governance, timely reporting and consistent ways of working.
What you will do as a PMO Analyst:
- Maintain the integrated programme plan, keeping task status, completion and milestone information current.
- Produce weekly programme status reports for internal and Authority audiences.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, RAG summaries and KPI trackers.
- Support formal milestone submissions, coordinating document collation and quality assurance.
- Manage programme risks and issues, prompting workstream leads for timely updates.
- Maintain the programme document library and robust version control.
- Support governance meetings through agenda preparation, minute-taking and action tracking.
- Prepare materials for Authority meetings, contract reviews and Go/No Go readiness assessments.
- Promote consistent use of programme templates and processes across workstreams.
- Monitor delivery against the contractual schedule and flag deviations to the Programme Manager.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in a PMO, project support or programme analyst role, ideally in the public or third sector.
- Strong Microsoft Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint skills for data management and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage and synthesise information from multiple sources.
- Clear written communication skills and the ability to produce well-structured reports and meeting minutes.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- An understanding of project management principles and methodologies, such as PRINCE2 or MSP.
- A collaborative working style and the ability to build positive relationships across a diverse programme team.
