3 day per week onsite in Worcester £38,729 rising to £ 40,768 on achieving proficient level after 1 year

As PMO Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a complex technology portfolio, helping to drive effective governance, resource management, project assurance and continuous improvement! You will join a thriving team and be able to hit the ground running!

Responsibilities

  • Producing and analysing portfolio, programme and project reporting to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintaining PMO processes, tools and controls to ensure effective project delivery and governance.
  • Supporting risk, issue, change and dependency management across the portfolio.
  • Assisting with quality assurance activities to ensure projects adhere to agreed standards and methodologies.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and providing proactive PMO support.
  • Monitoring compliance with governance frameworks, policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the resolution of delivery issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contributing to strategic programmes, change initiatives and portfolio management activities.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a PMO, Portfolio, Programme or Project Support environment.
  • Proven experience supporting medium to large-scale programmes and projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
  • Experience producing dashboards, reports and management information to support decision-making.
  • Knowledge of portfolio governance, project controls and PMO best practices.
  • Experience reviewing and improving processes, tools and ways of working.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Previous experience coaching, mentoring or managing team members would be advantageous.
