The world is changing fast, expectations from customers, communities, regulators and our stakeholders are rising. We are in the midst of a multi-year programme that will help us not only achieve our Target Operating Model but also integrate change with ongoing operational delivery and improvement projects. We’re already making great progress with a new Executive Team, a new COO function, moving from five to nine regions in our Southern network (creating closer communities for our people) plus introducing new processes and organisation structure to optimise efficiency. We are also transforming the ways of working and management tools used by our front line services.
We’re now offering fantastic opportunities for colleagues to help us on this exciting journey!
About the role...
The PMO Analyst – Data & Insights plays a critical role within the Portfolio Management Office supporting a large, multi-year transformation within the Operations directorate.
This role is primarily responsible for the collection, analysis, and presentation of project and portfolio data, transforming it into actionable insights for senior leadership. You will leverage advanced Power BI and Excel capabilities to identify trends, highlight risks, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve delivery performance.
In addition, the role will use data to provide assurance on project compliance and support the wider PMO team across governance, planning, and reporting activities.
Where required, the role will act as a support function to the Portfolio Management Office and may involve administrative services such as meeting arrangements, meeting slide preparation, risk management tracking and update, completion and circulation of meeting minutes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
