PMO Analyst | Newcastle | Advance your PMO career

Are you an experienced PMO professional looking to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a confident and organised PMO Analyst to join a large-scale organisation in Newcastle. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to build on their existing PMO experience, work with senior stakeholders and gain exposure to larger and more complex programmes.

Experience: 2-5 years of hands on experience
Location: Newcastle (Must be local, or willing to relocate to Newcastle)
Working pattern: Hybrid- 3 days a week in the Newcastle office
Salary: up to £45k dependent on experience level.
Contract: 12 months FTC with intention to convert to permanent.
Start date: ASAP (Subject to onboarding)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the effective coordination and delivery of projects and workstreams
  • Producing project reporting and maintaining accurate project information
  • Working with data and Excel to support reporting and decision-making
  • Engaging with stakeholders across project and leadership teams
  • Supporting project governance, actions, risks and delivery activities
  • Using your organisation and problem-solving skills to keep delivery on track

What we’re looking for

  • Strong PMO skills and an understanding of project delivery
  • Confident stakeholder management, including working with senior stakeholders
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge or experience of the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Power BI and data analysis experience would be a valuable advantage
  • Good leadership, communication and organisational skills

Essential Requirements

To do well in this role, you’ll need:

  • Strong PMO skills with experience supporting effective project delivery
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Confidence working with data, spreadsheets, and reports
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Excel and Power platform skills
  • Ability to confidently engage and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • A willingness to learn, take feedback, and follow structured processes
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Ability to obtain SC clearance
