PMO & Change Manager – Private Markets – Interim – Hybrid

A leading private markets investment manager is seeking an interim PMO & Change Manager to support the Office of the COO in London.

This is a senior, hands-on delivery role operating close to the top of the organisation, supporting a broad portfolio of strategic and operational change including organisational design and Target Operating Model initiatives.

Sitting alongside senior leadership, you will bring structure and momentum to a fast-moving change agenda, combining strong programme delivery and PMO discipline with the ability to operate confidently at C-suite level.

The PMO & Change Manager is expected to:

  • Lead the delivery and coordination of strategic change initiatives across the Office of the COO.
  • Bring structure and PMO discipline to Target Operating Model and organisational design programmes.
  • Manage programme plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID items and delivery risks through to resolution.
  • Provide hands-on project management across key projects and workstreams where required.
  • Produce high-quality presentations, briefing materials and reporting for Board, Executive and senior leadership audiences.
  • Establish effective governance, reporting, scorecards and delivery cadences across the change portfolio.
  • Facilitate senior governance and steering meetings, ensuring decisions and actions are captured and driven through to completion.
  • Coordinate senior stakeholders and workstream leads, maintaining accountability and momentum across initiatives.
  • Identify delivery risks and issues early, establishing clear mitigation plans and paths to green.

  • Strong experience delivering change within Private Markets, Private Equity or a closely related alternative investment environment.
  • Proven experience delivering Target Operating Model (TOM), organisational design and/or business transformation programmes.
  • Excellent programme/project management and PMO capabilities across planning, governance, RAID, dependencies and reporting.
  • Experience operating directly with COOs, C-suite executives and senior leadership teams.
  • Exceptional PowerPoint and executive communication skills, with experience producing Board and leadership-quality materials.
  • A hands-on approach to delivery, with the ability to operate independently and drive initiatives forward with minimal direction.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience across both Agile and Waterfall environments, with relevant programme/project management qualifications beneficial.
