Job Summary
We are looking for a PMO Coordinator to support the effective operation of the Project Management Office across the project delivery lifecycle.
The role is responsible for implementing, coordinating and reporting against agreed governance standards, ensuring project information is accurate, delivery controls are consistently applied, and reporting is produced clearly and on time.
Working closely with Project Managers, Sponsors and the Portfolio & Delivery function, the PMO Coordinator will support project governance activities, maintain project records, coordinate reporting cycles and help ensure projects progress through delivery in line with agreed PMO standards.
This role does not own the governance framework or make project approval decisions. It supports the application of agreed governance standards and escalates issues, gaps or non-compliance where appropriate.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to projects and senior stakeholders within a fast-growing data centre business.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the application of agreed PMO governance standards across the project delivery lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, trackers and documentation within relevant PMO systems, including ServiceNow where applicable.
- Coordinate project governance activities, including stage gate reviews, project reporting cycles, closure activities and supporting evidence.
- Support the preparation of project and portfolio delivery reports, governance packs and meeting materials.
- Track project actions, decisions, RAID items, key milestones and governance requirements.
- Monitor the completeness and quality of project information and escalate gaps, overdue actions or non-compliance where appropriate.
- Support Project Managers with PMO process requirements, documentation standards and reporting expectations.
- Assist with financial and delivery controls by maintaining reporting inputs relating to approved budgets, purchase orders, project status and closure information.
- Coordinate PMO meetings, agendas, actions and follow-ups.
- Support project closure activities, ensuring required documentation and evidence is captured in line with agreed standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve PMO templates, reporting and ways of working, making recommendations to PMO / Portfolio & Delivery leadership.
- Provide supplementary reporting on project delivery governance, compliance and data quality.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
