My clients are looking for a PMO Lead who has working knowledge of ITIL / ServiceNow / IDAM. This is a 3-6-month contract and is inside scope of IR35. Candidates with a background in Real Estate Services would be desirable.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities
- PMO Leadership: Deliver a UK PMO function supporting Real Estate, Workplace, Facilities, and Technology-enabled transformation programmes.
- Portfolio Oversight: Monitor project performance, budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies across a portfolio of Real Estate, Workplace, and technology initiatives.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls, IT governance standards, property compliance requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Service Management Alignment: Ensure projects align with ITIL best practices, supporting effective service transition, operational readiness, and handover into BAU support teams.
- ServiceNow Governance: Drive the use of ServiceNow for project governance, workflow management, change control, reporting, and service delivery processes.
- IDAM Oversight: Support projects involving Identity & Access Management (IDAM), ensuring access governance, security controls, and compliance requirements are embedded throughout project delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Real Estate, Workplace, IT, Security, Facilities Management, external suppliers, consultants, and business stakeholders.
- Reporting & Insights: Deliver executive-level dashboards, portfolio reporting, RAID management, service performance metrics, and programme updates.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement across PMO processes, project delivery methodologies, service management practices, and supporting toolsets.
- Change Management: Support organisational change, communications, service adoption, and business readiness activities associated with Real Estate and technology change programmes.

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading PMO functions within Real Estate, Workplace, Facilities Management, Property, or Corporate Transformation environments.
- Experience delivering programmes involving IT Service Management (ITSM), ServiceNow, Workplace Technology, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles, including service transition, change management, and operational governance.
- Experience supporting Identity & Access Management (IDAM) initiatives, including access governance, user life cycle management, and compliance requirements.
- Strong portfolio governance, risk management, financial tracking, and reporting experience.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow, MS Project, Power BI, Excel, and other PMO reporting tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior business, technology, Real Estate, and Facilities stakeholders.
- Experience working within large, complex, matrix organisations.

Qualifications
- Degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Project Management, Property, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- PRINCE2, PMI, or APM certification preferred.
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
- ServiceNow certification or experience working within a ServiceNow environment are desirable.
- Knowledge of Real Estate portfolio management, workplace transformation, facilities management, and corporate property operations would be advantageous.
This version positions the role as a Real Estate PMO Lead/Manager with responsibility for ServiceNow, ITIL-aligned service management, and IDAM governance rather than a construction-focused PMO.
