Position Description

At CGI, you will lead the evolution of a high-impact PMO capability that drives transparency, strategic alignment, and measurable business value across complex programmes. Working at the heart of major transformation initiatives, you will shape how delivery is governed, optimised, and continuously improved, enabling better outcomes for clients and stakeholders. We empower our leaders to take ownership of strategy, think creatively to enhance delivery models, and collaborate across teams to build a data-driven, insight-led PMO within a supportive and growth-focused environment.

CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.

Due to the secure nature of some of our programmes, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position with some onsite attendance at one of our Scottish Offices.

Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead and develop a growing PMO function, shaping it into a strategic, value-driven capability that supports complex portfolios and programmes. You will take ownership of defining PMO strategy, embedding governance frameworks, and driving a shift toward outcome-focused delivery, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and investment objectives. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide insight-led decision support, enabling transparency, accountability, and effective portfolio management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
