Your new role
We're looking for an experienced PMO Lead to play a key role within a significant transformation programme, supporting the design and implementation of a new operating model.

You'll take a lead across programme governance, reporting and controls, while providing oversight across multiple interconnected workstreams and ensuring the transformation remains aligned to its strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead PMO activity across a large-scale transformation programme
- Support the development and implementation of a new operating model
- Establish and continually improve programme governance and controls
- Provide clear oversight of plans, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies
- Develop high-quality programme reporting and management information
- Ensure activity across multiple workstreams remains aligned and coordinated
- Provide senior stakeholders with clear visibility of progress and delivery challenges
- Drive effective RAID and dependency management
- Coordinate programme governance forums and reporting cycles
- Challenge delivery teams where appropriate and ensure actions are followed through
- Support the programme through complex organisational and operational change
- Help embed effective PMO standards, processes and ways of working

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
