Workforce Data Governance PMO Lead

The client is seeking a Workforce Data Governance PMO Lead to support governance execution for HR workforce data, HR analytics, and AI-driven use cases. The individual will coordinate intake, triage, routing, documentation, and decision tracking to help ensure workforce data is used consistently, responsibly, and in compliance with governance and control requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end workforce data governance workflows, including intake management, review readiness, decision support, and closure activities.
  • Partner with HR stakeholders, including case owners, sponsors, risk and control partners, and legal/compliance teams, to obtain required inputs and resolve blockers.
  • Maintain governance documentation and supporting evidence, including intake artifacts, decisions, approvals, and meeting notes, in approved repositories, ensuring information is accurate and easily retrievable.
  • Prepare decision-ready materials for governance forums and support meeting facilitation activities, including agenda preparation, action tracking, and follow-up coordination.
  • Maintain operational trackers and reporting dashboards, including inventory status, key milestones, and open action items; perform routine data quality and governance hygiene checks.
  • Support lifecycle activities such as holds, cancellations, and retirements by coordinating updates and maintaining accurate records.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in governance operations, risk and controls coordination, compliance operations, HR operations, or program/project management within a regulated environment.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholder follow-ups.
  • High attention to detail and a proven ability to maintain auditable documentation and records.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including filters, lookups, reconciliations, and pivot tables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly summarize status, risks, issues, and decisions for stakeholders.

  • Centralized Dashboard: Gathers requests from multiple channels like email, web forms, and chat into one single view.
  • Routing: Assign and route tickets to the right team member based on pre-set rules or skills.
  • Status & Priority Tracking: Labels tickets by urgency, stage of progress, and deadlines.
  • SLA Management: Monitors service level agreements to ensure timely responses and fixes.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Measures team performance, resolution speeds, and common user problems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with workforce and HR data domains, including employee identifiers, organizational structures, workforce reporting, and data minimization principles.
  • Experience supporting data governance, data quality management, analytics governance, and/or AI/ML governance processes.
  • Experience working with workflow management tools, including intake/ticketing platforms, collaboration tools, and shared documentation repositories.
