PMO Lead

London (Hybrid)

Albany Beck is partnering with a leading global financial services organisation to support a major transformation programme within its Capital Markets division. As the programme continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced PMO Lead to play a key role in driving governance, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight across a complex portfolio of strategic change initiatives.

This is an opportunity to join a highly visible transformation programme that sits at the heart of the business. You'll work closely with senior programme leadership, business stakeholders, and delivery teams, helping to ensure the programme remains structured, controlled, and positioned for successful delivery. The environment is fast paced, collaborative, and offers exposure to large-scale business and technology change across a globally recognised organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead PMO activities across a complex transformation programme, ensuring strong governance and delivery controls are embedded throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Own and maintain programme governance frameworks, standards, and reporting processes, ensuring consistency and adherence across multiple workstreams.
  • Manage and drive RAID processes, ensuring risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies are captured, tracked, challenged, and escalated where appropriate.
  • Produce high-quality programme reporting and executive-level management information, providing clear visibility of programme health, milestones, risks, and delivery progress.
  • Prepare steering committee packs, governance materials, and senior stakeholder presentations, ensuring information is accurate, insightful, and decision-focused.
  • Coordinate governance forums and leadership meetings, capturing actions, tracking outcomes, and ensuring accountability across stakeholders.
  • Act as a central point of coordination across business, technology, and change teams, helping to drive communication, alignment, and transparency throughout the programme.
  • Support programme leadership with planning, status tracking, financial oversight, and overall programme administration.
  • Develop and enhance PMO tools, templates, reporting packs, and governance artefacts to improve programme effectiveness and delivery maturity.
  • Manage escalations and delivery challenges, working closely with stakeholders to identify solutions and remove obstacles impacting progress.
  • Build strong relationships across the programme, providing challenge where necessary while maintaining a collaborative and delivery-focused approach.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
