The role

You’ll manage a team of PMO analysts to support a large portfolio of complex, strategic and BAU programmes and projects. You’ll provide clear and accurate oversight and assurance to the senior team that the Governance Framework, is being worked to across MAG Technology and contribute to the execution of the PMO Roadmap for delivery of continuous improvement across the Governance Framework.

What will make you a successful PMO Manager?

You’ll have a strong track record and experience of working within a PMO Function, managing processes/people in delivery of a Governance Framework. Working closely with delivery leads to ensure accurate application of the framework. You’ll have a continuous improvement mindset with ability to influence peers in delivery of improvements. You’ll have the ability to apply appropriate challenge. You’ll have effective prioritising skills, experience of working with industry leading portfolio management tools (PPM) and significant experience of project lifecycle, project management principles, frameworks and methodologies, ideally through qualification in a recognised methodology e.g. PRINCE2/MoP/APM, as well as experience of tracking and managing programme budgets. You’ll have excellent Microsoft Office skills alongside excellent oral, written communication skills and the ability to summarise a large amount of delivery information into a well presented, concise and accurate manner and ensure the timely provision of relevant management information to governance forums.
