PMO Manager
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Location: Alderley Edge - Hybrid
We're looking for an experienced PMO Manager to join a growing consultancy, supporting the successful delivery of transformation programmes across a range of Public Sector clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading and developing PMO functions, driving governance standards, and supporting complex project and programme delivery across a varied portfolio.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and developing the PMO function across multiple projects and programmes.
- Overseeing governance, reporting, RAID management, and project controls.
- Producing portfolio reporting, executive dashboards, and management information.
- Supporting project planning, resource management, and delivery assurance activities.
- Facilitating governance meetings and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.
- Driving PMO best practice and continuous improvement across the project portfolio.
- Working closely with senior leadership to provide visibility of programme performance, risks, and dependencies.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a PMO Manager within complex project or programme environments.
- Strong knowledge of PMO governance, project controls, and delivery frameworks.
- Experience producing portfolio reporting, management information, and executive-level dashboards.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders.
- Experience supporting planning, resource management, risk, issue, and dependency management activities.
- Strong experience using tools such as MS Project, Jira, and/or Azure DevOps.
- Government or wider Public Sector experience is highly desirable.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to improve processes and drive PMO maturity.
